Selected to participate in Art in Bloom, an annual celebration where floral designers interpret works from the museum’s collection through flowers. Through color, movement, texture, and composition, I translate fine art into floral experiences that reflect both the original artwork and my own creative perspective.
David Owsley Museum of Art | Art in Bloom
Returning to my alma mater, Ball State University, as a participating floral artist for Art in Bloom has been a meaningful full circle experience. Through botanical interpretation, I explore the relationship between fine art and floral design, translating works from the museum’s collection through color, form, movement, and story.
Cincinnati Art Museum | Art in Bloom.
Selected to participate in Cincinnati Art Museum’s Art in Bloom, where floral designers create botanical interpretations inspired by works from the museum’s collection. My design explored the form and cultural beauty of a Vietnamese kendi, translating its distinctive shape and visual character through flowers, movement, and composition.
